Creating a Book Trailer
We're going to create trailers for some of the books we are reading. We will use the app 'iMovie' to create our trailers. We're learning about the effective features of a trailer; features essential for catching the viewers attention so that they will want to go on and read the books we've featured.
This video features a range of trailers made by students in an American school. We're using it to help us focus on the elements needed in our trailers.

Reader's Theatre Videos
We've worked with Room 13 to create videos on Reader's Theatre texts. This has meant refining a range of skills, from enunciating all the words, expression and clarity, to creating google drawing illustration and composing music in Garageband. We've had to work effectively as groups to complete our videos, working collaboratively and effectively together. We've created our own Youtube channel to feature our videos. Watch this video below; it will also take you to our other videos.
