Middle Schoolers at Otonga are very lucky to attend music lessons once a week. Up until last year music lessons focused mainly on learning the elements of music and then applying that learning to playing the Marimbas. This year with our new music teacher Mrs Lines, the children are learning to play a range of instruments. So far this has included simple percussion instruments, the marimbas, recorders and ukeleles. Everyone loves going to music lessons and having a hands on time with the various instruments. Here is Room 9 learning some basic chords and songs on the ukeleles...
